William Street - once a baron wasteland has truly come to life with these gorgeous independent shops. William street makes the stroll to the city from mount lawley an absolute pleasure as there's a shop for everyone's tastes.

The people. There seems to be something freeing about William St that just lets people be who they are. One of my favourite things to do is sit in The Moon and just people watch. Bordering on stalkerish? Maybe. Fascinating? Definitely!

I love that you can grab dim sum, followed by shopping at some of the best stores (and galleries) in Perth for handmade, vintage and local wares, then finish it off with a cocktail.

I love what William street has become. Where else can you find cute vintage threads; adorable antiques; unique and beautiful artwork; feast on the greatest veggie burger and in perth (the moon); and a space for live music to errupt on the streets (laneway festival). It's called the Cultural Centre of Perth for a reason. What other lone street packs in this much goodness?

oh william st, you're much too much,
meals, heels, vintage delights at lala and such.
mela do the best thali's in perth,
and brave new world have clothes from all ends of the earth.
then there's the red stripe rockabilly fun,
a day's not enough to get it all done!
there's shopping bliss over at harry,
i always end up with more than i can carry.
i guess it's lucky my poetry skills are somewhat less,
than my skills in shopping - what i do best!
